  • Stumbled upon this place looking for an izakaya away from yakitori alley and it ended up being a hit. Service was great and the food was so flavourful and delish. The chicken nanban was such a nice surprise and loved the pork wrapped mochi. And they have wine! Would definitely come here again. The table charge of saltines and cream cheese was also charming and great with a drink while you’re waiting for your order.

  • Found this from a video on social media. Went there on a warm night in September (30degrees) for dinner with 3 friends. Greeted with a queue which would take 30 minutes to clear. Once inside, relieved by the blowing air conditioning. We were ushered to our private area. Decent menu, covered most dishes, and well priced. Food came out at a reasonable pace and service was prompt as you would expect in Japan. Ordered Blooming onions Assorted Skewers Fried chicken Fried rice balls And a few more Slightly difficult to get in and out of our area to visit the toilets however i guess that's part of the charm. Food was slightly over salted, we thought it might be a mistake but most dishes were this way. Good experience - would reccomend. But i would probably try other places before returning.

  • Juicy chicken (thigh) and perfectly seasoned chicken heart and gizzards. Kaarage was also beautifuly breaded and juicy. Pork belly and mushrooms (shiitake and oyster) are also huge favorites. Shichimi are also provided for spicy lovers. Host was very lively and friendly, happily accomodated us who are non Japanese speaking. Chef/cooks in the middle were also very kind and spoke in English for us and pointed out which meats were being served on the plate. You can also watch them fry and grill the kaarage and skewers. Would recommend!

  • Already our 2nd time here. Superb quality and attentive service. Very culturally immersive as well. You will get an authentic Japanese Yakitori dining experience. The restaurant manager Mr. Chhetri Ganesh was very welcoming and accommodated us on a busy holiday even without a reservation. We will definitely visit again and the new Manila branch. Thank you and kudos to the entire team!

  • The restaurant is a hidden gem under the stairs. Every time a customer arrives every one shouts . I am not sure what they shouted but we felt it was a kind of acknowledgment and welcome. The food was very nice and in small dishes so you can try a variety of food. Plum wine is also recommended
